General Description:

Our second Wine with Jeff masterclass, we will explore Pinot Noir from the 'New World', Australia, New Zealand and the USA. We have selected wines that clearly express their regional characteristics. 

The regions include:  Tasmania, Martinborough, Oregon, Mornington Peninsula, Central Otago, Geelong, Yarra Valley and Gippsland. Requirements to participate: Relaxed attitude Fun disposition Troubles left at the door Wine knowledge is not essential, a little interest is! And Beware...prepare for a lot of chitchat!

Our guest presenter Jeffrey Rohde joins after several decades in the wine industry in roles encompassing Cellar door manager, sommelier, and global sales management roles. He has consulted to some of Australia’s largest (and smallest!) wine businesses and has lectured at Latrobe University, William Angliss Institute and Swinburne.

He considers himself very fortunate that his hobby aligns with his profession, and enjoys little more than conversation over several glasses of wine with a delicious meal in front of him.
