Sourced from old, high-altitude vineyards between 720 and 1,000 metres above sea level, the wine is led by Carricante with Catarratto, Minella Bianco and Garganega. Whole-bunch fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured for 19 months in fibreglass and ceramic vessels, it reveals an expressive bouquet of citronella, spearmint and preserved lemon layered with honey, dried orange peel and striking volcanic minerality.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with vibrant natural acidity, a beautifully textured mouthfeel and remarkable precision.
