The vineyard is planted on well-drained gravel and red loam soils, with Sangiovese grafted in 2009 using Mat 6 and Mat 7 clones. The nose shows red cherry, maraschino and raspberry alongside dried Mediterranean herbs, red spice and ginger.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eOn the palate, it is medium-bodied and savoury with juicy red fruit, lively acidity and classic dusty tannins.
