Fermented and matured entirely in a single 2500L French oak foudre, it is a powerful yet highly refined expression of cool-climate Australian Chardonnay. The nose is intensely layered and aromatic, revealing mandarin skin, white peach and grapefruit alongside flinty reduction, crushed rock and citrus blossom. There are complex savoury notes of grilled nuts, nougat, oatmeal and pastry, with subtle oak spice woven seamlessly through the fruit.
