Crafted by Gernot Kollmann, the wine is a selection from organically farmed vineyards in Enkirch, Briedel and Dhron, with many vines over 40 years old, rooted in steep slate soils. Naturally fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured on gross lees in a combination of stainless steel and traditional oak casks, it captures the estate's hallmark balance of power and finesse. The nose is vibrant and complex, revealing ripe peach, orange zest and citrus blossom layered with flint, wild herbs and pronounced slate minerality.
