Its densely planted, southeast-facing vines grow in shallow glauconitic clay over well-drained limestone. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in seasoned French oak, the wine spent 12 months on lees in barrel followed by five months on light lees in stainless steel. It opens with lemon oil, lime, mandarin and white peach, accompanied by jasmine, fennel, struck flint, oyster shell, toasted hazelnut and subtle mushroom notes.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOn the palate, it is taut and mineral-driven yet possesses impressive richness and concentration.
