The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Village actually contains 80% Premier Cru. The tightly wound, pleasant bouquet almost reluctantly reveals its tobacco-tinged red fruit. The nicely balanced palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin and quite masculine in style, with a saline finish. Nice precision here for a Village Cru.
