Dean Roberts has been growing grapes and making wine in South Gippsland since 2005. He has grown or made wine in this flourishing region from different varieties. The greatest varieties for South Gippsland are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, he said.
Lithostylis 2016 Obelisk Pinot Noir. Aromas: A nose of raspberry, plum, spice and aniseed. A rich and firmly structured palate with generous ripe tannins and minerally acidity. Overtones of forest floor and coffee. A medium-bodied wine which opens up in the glass.
