The grapes for this wine were handpicked and fermented as small parcels with manual plunging. The wine was then pressed into French barriques and tank, to finish primary and malolactic ferment. After maturation for a further 12 months the wine was bottled and left for a period to gain complexity with bottle age. It is a vibrant red wine varietal that gives off aromas of blueberry and cassis from its lifted nose.
