2019 Moorooduc McIntyre Pinot Noir

Very bright, deepish purple/red colour, impressive appearance. The bouquet is reserved yet sweet-fruited, with lots of sweet dark-cherry to raspberry nuances and a hint of 'forest floor', which all continue onto the palate, where it's fruit-sweet, ripe and almost opulent, yet the abundant tannins hold it all in check and provide serious structure, contributing to a very long carry. A rich, powerful, full-flavoured pinot with the potential to age well. A superb Aussie pinot.
