2018 is our third vintage of Syrah here at our Granton estate. Fruit was picked on the end of April and processed at the winery with 70% of fruit de-stemmed and 30% kept as whole bunch for fermentation. The wine spent 13 months in 2nd and 3rd fill French oak barrels before blending and bottling.
The wine displays flavors of ripe plum and dark chocolate on the nose, which are followed by hints of white pepper and red currents on the palate and well rounded tannins on the finish.
